Motorcycle Jacket Sizing Guide:
Below is the sizing guide. I've done this a little different to how most sizing guides are done. Instead of giving a sizing like 32, 34, 36, etc I have given the actual size of the jacket so you can pick the one that best suits you.
The main measurement is the chest measurement.
1) You want to take your own chest measurement (under the armpits at the widest part)
2) Then add a minimumof 14cm to that measurement then choose from the below table. If you want a more relaxed fit or you typically ride with more layers underneath add another 2-4cm then choose from the below.
The measurements on the website are the actual size of the exterior of the jacket so you need some extra room to move and breath etc and 14cm is about the sweet spot for giving enough space to move but without making it baggy.

If the way I've done this size guide is confusing as hell and I should do it like everyone let me know and I'll do that.
I totally get buying a jacket or glove online can involve a bit of risk when it comes to sizing etc so I am more than happy to do a size swap or return if you want (provided it's still in the same condition it got sent to you in).

If you're wondering where the name Black Pup comes from I've always had black labradors and my first one was called Bob.
Excellent jacket, great fit and features. Slightly stiff but working softer as I wear more. Quilted lining is excellent as the temp has dropped.

The fit is pretty much perfect. Your sizing method just works.
The warm winter liner does make it perhaps ever so slightly “snug” (no draughts!) when worn with a polo shirt and thin fleece but it’s still very comfortable - and it’s not even yet "worn in” or slightly stretched (as all leather jackets do over time).
Without the warm liner (it’s 21ºC here today so it’s not at all needed) it’s absolutely perfect for me, and I love all the cooling vents and the wrist pocket.
I will take it for a blatt down some of our country lanes later this evening.
The quality is really excellent and the distressed look means its doesn’t look too new either - a bonus.
There has obviously been a lot of thought put into every aspect of the jacket design by you - and it really shows.
The back and arm length is superb, and I’m definitely not likely to “moon” anyone with my "builders bum…” - thankfully. Just right.
The soft collar to stop “leather chafe” at the neck is just one of many outstanding features, with the armour being effective but not bulky (in exactly the right place too) as another.
Sleeve fitment is very good for me indeed, and the pleats in the shoulder really work with my arms/chest size.
Quality zips and a tough big inner pocket all add to that high quality feel throughout.
The handy sleeve pocket is ideal for toll bridge change or even a contactless card - I checked - contactless works without opening the zip!🤦♂️

Bought this jacket 3 years ago now, and still going strong, especially after being caught out in the rain on numerous occasions without wet weather gear. The winter lining is perfect for the cold mornings.
The extended back also makes sure there isn't any butt cracks showing while riding which is a fantastic little feature.

Richard was helpful with sizing as i was a bit worried I was between sizes. The jacket arrived quickly and well packaged. Fits perfect, only a little tight in the lats when stretching/lifting arms upwards. Fine when reaching bars. It's leather, so will loosen up and give nicely over time. Only used it a couple of times and can tell it's going to be an absolute ripper - love it!
Only gone out a couple times with the ol’ bobber jacket but loving it already! Very happy with the quality for price ratio, and the key pocket feature.

Don't think I've seen any other jacket include a key pocket in the sleeve which is super handy!

Great jacket! I now have this and the perforated summer version. I went up a size in the winter version and that fits better with the liner and more clothing underneath. Both jackets are highly recommended!

This jacket is so nice I don’t want to take it out of the cupboard. Looks, feels and smells incredible, super comfy and the long zips on the wrist are pretty good even for winter gauntlets. I’m 180cm 100kg and the 2xl fits like a dream.
